Kate Nelson BSc, RD Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian

Kate Nelson is a registered dietitian with a wide breadth of experience in both adult and children's nutrition. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association and is registered with the Health Professions Council.

Kate set up the Inspire Dietetic Consultancy after many years of working in the NHS. She has worked in a variety of nutritional and dietetic roles throughout her career and has specialised in both adult and paediatric dietetics in both hospital and community settings. Kate strives to use her expertise in diet and nutrition to promote health and to prevent and treat disease.

Inspire Dietetic Consultancy is based in Hertfordshire and serves clients across Hertfordshire, Essex, North and East London.

Kate provides a Consultation Service for adults and children with a range of health problems and dietary needs. Her services are professional and individualised to provide dietary advice to suit your requirements and lifestyle.

In addition to individual consultations, Kate also provides a range of other services:

  • Training courses to health professionals, schools, nurseries and corporate businesses on a range of nutrition related topics of your choice.
  • Menu analysis for catering companies, businesses, schools or nurseries. Kate can analyse menus, advise on nutritional content and provide suggestions to make them healthier.
  • Lecturing on infant, child or adult nutrition to colleges or universities.
  • Nutritional assessments and health related advice to corporate businesses, organisations or companies. Consultations can be done individually or lectures on nutrition and health related topics can be designed for groups.
